It is our great pleasure to offer the New edition of the book Economics – I (Grade XI) to fulfill the need for the students of grade XI with Economics as major subject based on the High School Curriculum -2076 approved by Government of Nepal, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Curriculum Development Center, Sanothimi Bhaktapur. This book is equally useful for those who are interested in basic knowledge of economics specially with microeconomics, Nepalese economy and mathematical tools used in economics. Some of the major features of this book are that it provides an up-to-date coverage of the new syllabus of Economics (Grade XI). The other features of the book are that it includes large numbers of solved problems and activities related to each chapter. For the preparation of the examination, sufficient numbers of problems and activities are given as per the requirement of the students. This book is also equally helpful to those who are preparing the examinations conducted by Public Service Commission of Nepal as well as different public enterprises and private sectors. This book is the result of our long experience of teaching and constant support of students, teachers and other readers.
